Plain English, on purpose. This is a small local company, not a corporation — but the rules below are what we are all agreeing to.

1. What CampusGo is

CampusGo is a marketplace. Restaurants list their own food at their own prices, independent drivers deliver it, and CampusGo connects the two and handles payment.

CampusGo does not cook food, does not employ drivers, and is not affiliated with any school or university.

2. Orders

Placing an order is an offer, not a guarantee. A restaurant may decline it, and an order may be canceled for reasons including items being sold out, the kitchen closing, weather, or no driver being available.

Prices, photographs and descriptions are supplied by the restaurant. Where something differs from the listing, the restaurant is responsible for the food and CampusGo will help sort it out.

3. Payment

You are charged when the order is placed. The total shown at checkout is the total: food, delivery, service fee and any tip.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. CampusGo never sees or stores full card details.

Tips go to the driver in full. CampusGo takes nothing from them, ever.

4. Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel free of charge until the restaurant starts cooking. After that, food already made cannot usually be refunded.

If an order does not arrive, arrives at the wrong address through our fault, or is materially wrong, contact us and we will refund it.

5. Drivers

Drivers are independent contractors. They set their own hours, use their own vehicles, and choose which deliveries to accept.

Drivers are responsible for their own licence, insurance and vehicle, and for driving lawfully.

Threats, harassment or abuse toward a driver end an order immediately and close the account.

6. Restaurants

Restaurants are responsible for food safety, allergen information, licensing, and for the accuracy of their menu.

CampusGo charges a flat fee per completed order. Payouts are made on a fortnightly schedule to the bank account provided through Stripe.

7. Allergies

Tell the restaurant in the order note, and call them if it is serious. CampusGo passes the note along but cannot verify what happens in a kitchen it does not run.

8. Your account

Use your real name and a working phone number. Accounts are personal and may not be shared or sold.

You are responsible for what happens through your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access.

9. Privacy

We store what an order needs: your name, phone number, address, order history, and the chat attached to each order.

Your address and phone number are shown to the driver delivering to you, and to the restaurant preparing your food. They are not sold, and not shared otherwise except with our payment provider or where the law requires it.

10. Limits of responsibility

CampusGo is provided as-is. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.

Where the law allows it to be limited, responsibility for any single order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing here removes rights that cannot legally be removed.

11. Changes

These terms may change. The version in force is shown at the top of this page (currently 2026-09-01).
